Bridging science and patient experience in RSV-asthma research

Chantal Korver shared her personal story during the yearly General Assembly meeting of the CLARITY project in Barcelona. Hearing a first-hand account of the consequences of severe RSV infection and the asthma diagnosis that followed years later offered an emotional perspective that enriched the research and helped drive towards a more patient-centred approach to healthcare. Although the research is not grounded in a single personal narrative, these perspectives play an important role in highlighting its relevance.
